  3. i do hand springs in lines but when my friends spot me they use both hands
    is that right?

  4. @bloomedblossom Usually you put one hand on the lower back & the other one
    can help push the legs over (if necessary)

  5. we have tutorials on back bend recovery & back bend kickover – you can try
    the wall trick if you don’t have a spotter

  10. @nf094e depends on the program you sign up for -but they all do some
    stretching & some conditioning

  11. Are Back handsprings easier by using a round off first, or standing?

  13. we think roundoff – you have more momentum

  14. Practice hand walking to build up your arm strength. Then get someone to
    spot you as you do back walkovers on gym mats. Once you can do that well,
    practice on wood floors like dance floors. As you gain confidence, just
    have your spotter stand by – so they can help if needed. Once you do back
    walkovers a few times without help – you will get more confident. But start
    with help & gym mats till you are ready to try them on a dance floor.

  16. if you were to be in gymnastics, would they only teach you gym or would you
    do a lot of strength training with them too. i used to do gymnastics when i
    was younger but i dont really remember.

    and we cant do other stuff

  21. I have been invited to join tumbling but i dont want to join until i can do
    a back handspring becuz i would be bad compared to everyone else but i cant
    do it. Im scared to jump back into it, even with a spotter
