One of my pet peeves is when your coach has favrets or when u are trying your hardest and your coach or team ates are like you need to at least try and it's like I'm trying im the not the best at this skill
you are saying that softball and baseball are not sports. just to clarifly softball and baseball are sports. just because softball and baseball are not the olimpycs it doesnt mean it is not a physical activity.
Personally I think classifying sideline cheer a sport depends on the team. There are teams that throw fulls on the track and stunt as much and as hard as competitive teams. And they do that without trying to win anything. Like they may not be competing, but why does it matter. I don't compete when I snowboard, but it's still a sport. I still burn the same calories as someone who doesn't. So don't label school cheer as not a sport when there are teams that perform at the level that your competitive team compete at
You don't have to compete for something to be a sport I think a sport is something that takes team effort you also kinda compete because you give confidence to your schools team and hope to win

last year we did a compatishion for elementary school

Come to northern West Virginia. School cheer is a huge sport.
