Who cares about what the reporter or moms are saying? Why are these
coaches letting the kids throw back-handsprings by themselves when they
know they aren’t ready? These kids need to SAFELY progress in their skills
or they are going to get seriously injured!!! How are those coaches even
USASF certified?

They make cheerleading seem like torture.. It’s not. I cheer. If you don’t
work hard and push yourself, you’ll never get anywhere. What they don’t
show is the happiness throughout the team when a stunt hits, or a full out
routine is finally put together. The coach isn’t always mean. And the coach
isn’t even mean. She’s tough. She has to be. All coaches have to be.
These news reporters always make it sound like these people are beating
these kids mercilessly day in and day out. Alisha isn’t that mean to the
girls from what I’ve seen. She’s tough but what coach isn’t? There’s a fine
line between being tough and being abusive. If you want to see abusive,
watch the latest season of Dance Moms, that’s abusive. No doubt these moms
are crazy though. Living through your kids is really unhealthy and wrong.
That redhead mom is nuts. I can understand where the blonde mom is coming
from though, when she talked about everyone on her daughter’s softball team
getting a trophy, like that’s not fun, who wants a participation award?
There’s something to say for healthy competition, placing, and winning a
trophy of your own.
I do cheerleading and I’m a flyer that goes in the air we do tic tic to lib
and then heel stretch , my bases didn’t catch my feet and I fell flat in my
face about a 15 feet drop on my face I cryed but I tryed it again and it
worked u just have to push yourself and all you’re coaches and parents push
u to do it again and I think that’s a good thing!!
