  2. For the stunts I preform the backspot holds the flyers ankles not the front
spot because most times we don’t even use a front spot

  3. I think tall flyers look better in the air (my opinion)

  4. The backspot isn’t just a safety precaution

  5. There’s so much wrong with this video..

  6. A flyer can be tall or short can be any weight the only requirement for
being a flyer is that you need to be stanle and able to stay in the air

  7. Backspot arent just a safety precaution..

  8. And also, The bases shouldnt be resting the feet on their chest, and during
the cradle, the base shouldnt be holding the flyer like that and also
should be looking to the left. How that base in this video grabbed the
flyer after the cradle is actually part of a saftey stund called a
“bearhug”. They pop her into a sponge, into an elevator, then pop her up
and let the flyer go straight down and all should catch her right above the
    belly-button.

  9. I’m not short and I’m a flyer so thank you very much

It depends on your weight and how light you are Not Your height

  10. You are literally so stupid if you think flyers have to be short. No some
of the best flyers are tall. There are no rules to be a flyer. Really it
depends on the bases and how much weight they can base.

  11. Oh my dear God, This woman clearly doesnt know how stunting works. I’m a
base and sometimes a backspot and bases hands should be at their sides
before a stunt. The flyer’s butt litterally has to be in the base’s face
and up with their chest out to make it easier to lift. And the base’s chin
should NOT be resting on the flyers foot. I’ve been in cheer practically
all my life and i have never seen a worse technique. Not being rude, but
this instructor/coach needs to find a safer technique. Just saying.

  12. i dont have a front spot just bases and a back spot

  13. The flyer doesn’t have 2 be the lightest person right? Cuz I’m no really
    skinny…

  14. Didn’t she say the word extension because that looked more like a prep

  15. I’m a flyer and a base and I ain’t skinny nor light

  16. I honestly think backspot is strongest..

  17. the flyer didnt ever rod it up amatures

  18. bent wrist tht wasnt good

  19. Just saying but I did cheer 2years ago and I will be doing it again. But I
was a flyer and I’m short but I’m not that light I am 5ft. And 100 lbs. but
the flyers legs need to be close together and the back spot puts their
hands on the ANKLES not tw calls otherwise the flyer could fall easily. I
    know from experience.

  20. Like this comment if you are a flyer like me!

  21. Backspots dont grab the waist in a prep or extension, they grab the ankle
then when up, both ankles NOT calves. If the flier is shaky and youre
grabbing her calves, the stunt will fall.

  22. Okay I know how this is back spot is the strongest! Okay front is just an
extra that helps a lot! Sides are strong and the same height Flyer small
and doesn’t weigh a lot also usually flexible Duhh! They explained this
    sooo wrong!

  23. Im a flyer am you dont lock ur knees when ur up in the air u bend them
slightly and u dont need to be the lightest

  24. and btw she said NORMALLY ur smallest person. not ALWAYS ur smallest
    person! duh!

  25. I know how to do the splits, back hand springs, and high jumps, but I don’t
know how to do a stunt. How to do a stunt?
