I really think Lucy deserved that solo. I mean, just ’cause you’re a senior
doesn’t mean that you should get the solo. The solo must go to the dancer
that danced most powerfully, and the dancer that worked the most, and Lucy
was definitely the one. I’m not saying that Kaitlan isn’t a good dancer!
But the show must go one. :/ But I think that announcing the solos the day
of the competition is a little wrong ’cause look they’ve all already got
their costumes and everything.
I don’t know how the dance world normally works but it seems pretty hideous
to me to announce solos at the competition itself. A person needs time to
deal with rejection when hard work is involved, even if they know another
deserved the position more than they did. I personally agree that Lucy is a
stronger dancer but don’t understand why the announcement had to be made at
the competition itself. I don’t see what could be gained from two more days
of information after watching the dancers for months prior. Looks like
stalling and the energy of the group will suffer.
moses and kaitlan are personally my favorites not just because their
dancing is great but they have the cutest relationship (they should really
date) they are soooooo CUTE omg
